Daily polling roundup 6th April

Today we got a pair of YouGov/Sun polls, for Scotland and Wales. In Scotland, a two point swing from Conservative to Labour puts the latter 17 points behind the SNP – very much in line with recent polls.

In Wales, YouGov show a 13-point Labour lead, the smallest in any Welsh poll this year, representing a swing of 1.5% from 2010. The trend in Wales, as in England, has been for the Labour and the Conservatives both to gain at the expense of other parties.

Tomorrow we get Populus online (with all the usual caveats about polling over bank holiday weekends) and YouGov/Sun, which will kick off a seven-day-a-week YouGov pollercoaster for the final month until the election.
