Even Tory voters feel austerity has gone too far

Poll shows even Tory voters feel austerity has gone too far

Number Cruncher polling finds that two-in-three Brits think cuts to public services have gone too far, including majorities of all main parties’ voters.

Ahead of this week’s local elections in parts of England, we also asked specifically about cuts to local services.

My writeup for the FT of the findings and their implications is online here, tables are available here, and the tables for the voting intention were published previously.

Number Cruncher Politics interviewed 1,037 UK eligible voters online between 27th March and 5th April. Data are weighted by age, gender, education and region to match the profile of the eligible voting population. Image credit: Howard Lake (CC BY-SA 2.0)
